Fallen tree brings down power lines

Motorists warned as line repairs carried out

A fallen tree in the north of the Island has brought down power lines and has been causing problems on the roads this morning (Fri 5)

It's close to Lezayre Church, and police say there may be disruption to traffic travelling between Sulby and Ramsey while the incident is dealt with.

Engineers are at the scene. The tree also damaged telephone wires in the area.
