Service this evening part of WWI commemoration
A minute's silence will be observed at Ramsey war memorial this evening (Wednesday).
The gathering, at six thirty, is in memory of Private Robert Archer.
He lost his life during World War One while serving as a member of the 23rd Battalion, Middlesex Regiment.
His brother Thomas Archer, also from Ramsey, was killed in action a month later.
Ramsey Commissioners and the Ramsey branch of the Royal British Legion are continuing to mark the 100th anniversary of the loss of every town resident during the Great War.
