Lessons from pandemic could be used more widely
Lessons learnt by using remote education during the coronavirus school closure could be used to ensure pupils excluded from school or off ill won't miss out on their education.
Education, Sport and Culture Minister Dr Alex Allinson told the House of Keys a working group, including those from schools who worked well remotely during lockdown, will look at expanding online lessons and learning from home.
Attendance in the Island's schools has returned to levels seen prior to lockdown after reopening to all students last week.
Dr Allinson hopes this experience will prove valuable in the future:
Peel bar impacted by bus strikes
Care funding reform report delayed following ministerial change
