Appeal for witnesses to Sunday RTA
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road accident at Cronk y Voddy on Sunday afternoon (9 Oct).
The incident at around 3pm involved two vehicles, a silver Ford Escort and a silver Volkswagen Polo.
The road was totally blocked as emergency services, including two fire crews and several ambulances, dealt with casualties.
Hydraulic cutting gear was used to free one driver from their vehicle, and both drivers were given treatment at the scene before being transferred to Noble's Hospital. Their current condition isn't know.
The road remained closed for a number of hours while the wreckage was removed and police investigations carried out.
