Composer hoping for premiere in the autumn
There are hopes a first of its kind musical event will hit the stage on the Isle of Man later this year.
'Caillagh' the Manx-language opera is a 'tale of an enchantress, of loss and of hope told with outstanding performers'.
It's being penned by Matthew Warren with translation by Bob Carswell.
Matthew told Manx Radio the first draft is nearly complete and he's aiming for a premiere in the autumn:
