Equestrian: Ingham to begin European championship campaign

Manx rider and GB squad head into event as defending champions

Manx equestrian star, Yasmin Ingham will begin her campaign at the 2025 FEI Eventing European Championship today (18 September).

The competitor from Greeba is one of six riders representing Great Britain at this year's competition at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire running from today until Sunday (21 September).

Ingham - now based in Cheshire - will be riding Rehy DJ with the GB squad going into the championships as defending champions having won both individual and team gold at the last edition in 2023.

The other riders representing GB are Laura Collett, Caroline Harris, Piggy March, Tom McEwen and Bubby Upton.

The championships will begin today with two dressage sessions with the first between 10.30am and 12pm at the Palace Arena with the second at the same venue from 2.30pm to 4pm.

Tomorrow (19 September) there will be two further dressage sessions - again at the Palace Arena - first from 10.30am to 12.30pm and then 2.30pm until 4.30pm.

The disciplines then change on Saturday (20 September) as competitors take part in the Cross Country Test which will start on the day at 11am.

Rounding things out on Sunday (21 September) will be the Jumping Test, getting underway from 2pm.
