Dates of some important events surrounding next month's Isle of Man general election have been announced.
The House of Keys will be formally dissolved two weeks from today, on Thursday, August 18, ahead of polling day on Thursday, September 29.
Newly-elected MHKs will be sworn in on Tuesday, October 4 at 11.30am, and at 2.30pm that day the speaker will be elected by the House of Keys and any other business conducted.
The president will summon Tynwald Court to elect a new chief minister on Tuesday, October 11 at 10.30am.
