Nomads in third Cheshire Final

Southern Nomads have reached the Cheshire Plate Final for a third successive year.

A 33-17 win away at non-league Christleton booked their place on Saturday.

Steve McHugh, Conor Stephens, Vaughan Paddock, Tom Duggan and Chris Beaumont all crossed for tries for Nomads with Will Cain adding four conversions.

Nomads now await the outcome of the other semi-final before they find out who they’ll meet in the Easter Saturday showpiece.
